Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Identity Enrollment) in Boynton Beach, FL. You will manage access for residents, guests, and vendors, patrol the community, assist with emergencies, and provide excellent customer service to create a safe environment.

The role requires at least two years of security experience, a guard card or license if applicable, and the ability to work a 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM schedule. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorization for visitors and service providers, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, amenities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access issues, incidents, and unusual activity.
