Job summary

Damar Services, Inc. in East Chicago, IN seeks a Residential ABA Manager to lead and supervise the Children’s Residential Intensive Autism Services program.

You will guide daily ABA therapy operations, promote agency philosophy, and ensure high-quality client care in a licensed residential setting. The role requires coordinating staff training, performance management, and ensuring compliance with licensure requirements, with focus on safety and best practices for adolescents with DD/ID.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Supervisory/Management experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3–4 years working with adolescents, operating budgets, and knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees the day-to-day residential operations of the assigned campus building or group home.
• Manages all employee functions of on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring, performance appraisals, and performance management functions.
• Onboards new staff to align with Damar expectations around client care and service excellence while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
• Completes outing sheets and off-ground checklists to ensure clients are safe for off-ground outings.
• Keeps up to date on treatment best practices to meet client demands proactively.
• Ensures all IATs complete appropriate training and certification related to autism-specific services.
• Acts as a liaison between the IAS and ABA programs.
• Completes daily ABA therapy schedules for IAS clients and communicates this schedule to the IAS leadership team.
