Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Wellness Nurse who will assess resident health, lead individualized service plans, and coordinate care with the care team.

The role requires an active RN license, strong communication, and experience in elder care. The Wellness Nurse conducts regular visits, oversees medication administration, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports families and physicians.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License issued by the appropriate state licensing authority.
• Prefer 2+ years of experience in elderly care or assisted living.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and wellness checks for residents on a regular basis.
• Review medical reports prior to move-in to ensure needs can be met.
• Order medications and supervise the resident medication schedule.
• Maintain complete medication documentation and audits.
• Coordinate with Wellness Director and care team on health services.
• Be on-call for staffing and emergencies as needed.
