Job summary

Delta Shores Assisted Living in Antioch, CA is seeking an Activity Assistant (Part Time) to provide therapeutic activities that enhance residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being. You will follow care plans and assist in creating meaningful daily activities tailored to each resident’s interests and abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in long term geriatric nursing preferred.
• Experience providing activities to individuals is preferred.
• Must read, analyze, and interpret common information in English.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data from residents to complete and update activity assessments and plans.
• Carries out individual and group activities matching residents’ needs and interests.
• Assists Activity Director with calendar development and posting.
• Monitors environment for safety and reports hazards promptly.
• Records information in resident records per facility policy.
