Job summary

The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to provide safe, timely rides for residents to activities, medical appointments, and outings. You will maintain vehicle readiness, manage schedules, and coordinate with families and care providers to meet residents' transportation needs.

Responsibilities include assisting residents in wheelchairs, operating lifts, logging transportation requests, and reporting any changes in residents' condition.

Qualifications

• 3 years as a licensed driver.
• Valid California Class C license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with scheduling software.
• Experience with the senior population and wheelchair transport.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled destinations safely and on time.
• Maintain passenger safety and accountability at all times.
• Assist residents with special needs during transportation, including wheelchair assistance.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and secure wheelchairs properly.
• Schedule transportation per resident requests and guidelines.
• Maintain transportation records and communicate with residents and families.
• Review daily transportation schedule and coordinate with other Coordinators.
• Transport to outings and provide miscellaneous pickup/delivery services.
