Job summary

Vitality Living in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to provide safe, courteous transport for residents and coordinate vehicle maintenance and safety checks.

You will drive to social and other destinations, assist residents boarded and alighted, and document vehicle issues while maintaining a clean driving record and strict adherence to safety standards. CDL may be required for larger vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent requires completion.
• Must be 21 years or older with a clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives community vehicle to social and other destinations per schedule.
• Assists residents into/out of vehicle safely and secures wheelchairs.
• Documents vehicle damages and maintenance needs; reports to ED.
• Maintains daily/weekly trip inspections and records maintenance activity.
• Delivers groceries and other items to residents, supports activities.
• Maintains safe driving record and escorts residents to activities.
