Job summary

John Knox Village is seeking a reliable bus/ sedan driver to transport residents on scheduled routes, under supervision of the Public Safety Supervisor and Dispatcher. The role emphasizes passenger safety, courteous service, and adherence to DOT regulations and facility policies.

Applicants must hold a valid Missouri Class E driver’s license (Class C with passenger endorsement within 90 days), pass a DOT medical card, and be available Mon-Fri 10:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MO Class E driver’s license at time of hire; Class C with passenger endorsement within 90 days.
• DOT medical card and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus to transport passengers on scheduled routes, ensuring safety at all times.
• Assist passengers with entering/exiting the vehicle and with baggage.
• Regulate vehicle environment for passenger comfort and safety.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and safety requirements; report delays or violations.
