Lake Ridge Care Center—part of the Cassia family—is seeking a Resident Transportation Driver to join our Buffalo, MN location. You will operate a passenger bus and transport residents to events, appointments, and activities, ensuring safety and comfort for up to 12 passengers with wheelchairs as needed.

The role is On-Call with a minimum of 3-4 shifts per month, offering competitive, experience-based pay. Join a supportive team dedicated to aging with dignity and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Good driving record: no moving violations in the last two years.
• Must pass MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check.
• Capable of operating bus lift and strapping wheelchairs.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.

Responsibilities

• Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.
• Complete MnDOT daily logs and quarterly reports documentation.
• Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
• Perform daily upkeep of the bus (fuel, fluids, cleaning).
• Complete additional tasks as requested.

Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring a Resident Transportation Driver to join our team in Buffalo, MN! As a Resident Transportation Driver, you will safely operate a passenger bus to transport residents to scheduled events, appointments, outings, and activities. The bus is equipped to accommodate up to 12 residents with 2 wheelchairs, or up to 8 residents with 4 wheelchairs, depending on the transportation needs of the group. The ideal candidate is safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.

Position Type: On-Call, working minimum 3-4 shifts a month

Wage Range: $19 - $20.78 /hour depending on experience

Location: 310Park Ln, Buffalo, MN 55313

Resident Transportation Driver Responsibilities

• Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.
• Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports.
• Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
• Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc.
• Complete additional tasks as requested.

Resident Transportation Driver Qualifications

• Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.

• Capable of operating bus lift and strapping wheelchairs into the bus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
