Job summary

St. John’s United is seeking a dependable driver responsible for safely transporting residents and staff to designated sites within the Billings area. The role requires maintaining vehicle safety, clear communication, and a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Montana driver’s license, and be willing to be trained on transfers and oxygen operation. CDL endorsement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record and valid MT driver’s license; CDL endorsement preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports residents and staff members to designated sites.
• Keeps bus/van in safe working condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Life Enrichment Coordinator.
• Communicates effectively with residents, coworkers and guests.
• Has daily contact with residents and staff.
• Promotes and delivers high quality service to residents and staff.
• Adheres to the mission of St. John’s Lutheran Ministries.
• Follows safety rules and reports hazards.
• Attends mandatory safety inservices.
