Job summary

Mountain View Post Acute is hiring a full-time Driver in Colorado Springs. Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You will drive residents to appointments and activities and assist with loading/unloading from facility-approved vehicles.

You will help maintain a safe, comfortable transport and promote a positive image in the community. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, at least 25 years old, and experience driving passengers and securing wheelchairs.

Qualifications

• Experience driving passengers is required.
• Experience securing wheelchairs is required.
• Must be at least 25 years old to drive.
• Must have a valid driver's license (DL).
• Familiarity with GPS and local driving area is needed.
• No traffic crimes in last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to appointments and activities.
• Assist loading and unloading from facility-approved vehicles.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of vehicles for safety and appearance.
• Monitor maintenance logs and arrange routine vehicle maintenance.
• Be flexible with work time to accommodate schedules.
• Make complex decisions for highly dependent patients.
