Job summary

Apache Junction Health Center is seeking a part-time Driver (PT) (Maintenance) to assist residents with loading and unloading from facility approved vehicles and to ensure safe transportation to medical appointments, outings, and other activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining the interior and exterior of facility vehicles, monitoring maintenance logs, and performing transfers with proper safety techniques for mobile patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid driver s license required.
• No major traffic crimes in the last 7 years.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Familiar with GPS and local driving area.
• CNA training and CE maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles.
• Ensure safe transportation to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain interior and exterior of facility vehicles to promote safety and image.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and arrange routine service.
• Perform transfers with proper safety techniques for mobile patients.
• Lift and mobilize patients up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Follow instructions and company policies.
