Job summary

Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to safely transport residents in Cuero, TX. The role requires a High School education and a Full Time work schedule. You will operate and maintain transportation vehicles, perform routine inspections, and assist residents with boarding and alighting.

Candidate should be comfortable with on-time routing, safety procedures, and resident care during transport. Valid driver’s license and clean driving history are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of automotive equipment.
• Ability to perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Strong commitment to safety and resident transportation needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a van or bus on scheduled routes to transport residents.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle with care and safety.
• Document vehicle usage, mileage, and any incidents.
• Prepare trip and incident reports as required.
• Receive direction from dispatcher and follow assigned routes.
