Job summary

The Wellington at Springfield, a Sonida Senior Living community in Springfield, MA, seeks a driver to transport residents to scheduled stops and assist them in and out of vehicles. You will operate vehicles safely and contribute to a caring, resident-focused atmosphere.

Our team supports residents with modern technology tools, while maintaining safety and service quality. Employment includes competitive wages, benefits, and paid training, with PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CDL endorsement is preferred and required where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to routed stops; assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing.
• Ensures residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect; reports any incidents to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.
