Paycom is hiring a Resident Technician to provide personal care and related services for clients in Public Subsidized Housing Facilities.

The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, transfers, meals, and medication management, with HIPAA and confidentiality emphasized. Training, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR and Basic First Aid certifications.
• Pre-employment physical including TB screening or chest X-ray as required.
• Competency in providing personal care services.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop and lift objects as needed.
• Effective reading, writing, math, and ability to follow service plans.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, meals).
• Assist with transfers in/out of bed and ambulation.
• Assist with meals and dietary needs, including therapeutic diets.
• Assist with toileting and use of commodes or bedpans.
• Support clients with medications self-administered by client.
• Document daily caregiver notes and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper disposal of supplies and linens.
• Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and proper timekeeping.
• Ensure client safety and comfort during care interactions.

# Resident TechnicianArbor Court - CA 93534## OverviewSalary Range$21.00 - $21.00 Hourly## Description**POSITION SUMMARY:**The Resident Tech is responsible for providing personal care and related services to clients residing at Public Subsidized Housing Facilities.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:**The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will make reasonable accommodations to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.1. Assists with activities of daily living, such as bathing, hair care, skin care, oral care etc.2. Assists clients with transfers, such as in-and-out of bed. Assists with ambulation.3. Assists with the preparation of meals, including therapeutic diets and assists clients with eating.4. Assists clients with toileting, going to the bathroom or in using commodes, bedpans or urinals.5. Assists clients with medications that are self-administered by the client.6. Performs other activities taught by a health professional for a specific patient. These may include such services as taking vital signs.7. Monitors client activities, food intake, functional status, psychosocial status. Reports changes in the client's condition and needs to the ALWFacility Manager.8. Records and completes daily caregiver notes regarding services performed.9. Performs simple household procedures essential to maintenance of proper health care at home, such as disposal of infectious secretions, cleaning of soiled linen, proper disposal of food, light housekeeping.10. Attends all mandatory in-service training and educational offerings. Completes all required in-services per year.11. Regularly attends and participates in scheduled case conferences and staff meetings.12. Complies with HIPAA regulations, always maintains and conserves confidentiality of client and agency information.13. Utilizes client equipment and supplies safely, efficiently and effectively.14. Maintains comfortable work environment for all employees.15. Maintains proper timekeeping.16. Maintains all credentials up to date.17. Reports Fraud and Abuse.18. Knowledge of mandated reporting.19. Conducts timely recording and/or documentation of client contact.20. Attend Department meetings (in person, by phone or on the web).21. Attends all State mandated in service trainings.22. Conforms to all agency policies and procedures.23. Performs other duties as assigned**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*** Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis.* Moderate amount of walking up to 50% of the time.* Close vision requirements due to computer work on a frequent basis* Light to moderate lifting may be required up to 50lbs on a frequent basis. Up to 100lbs 15% of the time.* Pushing and pulling up to 50lbs on a frequent basis. Over 50lbs 20% of the time.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS:**1. Current CPR and Basic First Aid.2. Current and satisfactory report on pre-employment physical examination including TB Screening Test or chest X-ray as required by Agency policies and procedures. Must be free from signs of infection and illness.3. Must demonstrate competency in performing personal care services prior to providing patient care.4. Able to walk, bend, stoop, and lift objects appropriate for job performance. Must be able to perform all job responsibilities.5. Must be able to communicate effectively, read, writelegibly, spell correctly, perform basic mathematics, understand and carry out service plans and physician orders.6. Knowledgeable of basic computer skills.
