Job summary

Plymouth Housing is seeking a Float Residential Specialist to support residents within a Permanent Supportive Housing team in Seattle. The role operates in a unionized environment under OPEIU Local 8, with a starting wage of $31.57 per hour and a strong emphasis on harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and housing-first philosophy.

The RS will staff the front lobby, assist residents, coordinate with case managers, and help maintain a safe, clean building 24/7.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service.
• Experience serving low-income households or disabled populations.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and basic databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate front lobby functions, greet residents, answer phones and monitor security.
• Provide resource navigation and liaison services between residents and external providers.
• Support Housing Case Managers and Community Specialists to align tenant services with goals.
• Foster a welcoming environment and help residents access life skills and resources.
• Mediates conflicts and distributes notices and materials with accessibility in mind.
• Assist with building safety, maintenance, and offsite coordination as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and assist with program documentation.
