Job summary

Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY seeks a Part-Time Building Attendant/Receptionist to greet visitors and residents, direct arrivals, and help maintain a safe, clean environment across the Assisted Living community.

You will respond to the Emergency Response System, ensure campus security, and support daily operations while upholding infection control standards and HIPAA-related policies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a large facility preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Publisher).
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Builds trust and rapport with residents and families.
• Knowledge of supply areas, laundry rooms, and residents' rooms.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, patients and residents and direct them to the appropriate area.
• Respond to the Emergency Response System and secure the campus when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and order in building areas and common spaces.
• Record data such as property damage, incidents, and equipment malfunctions for supervisory review.
• Communicate infection control policies and follow OSHA regulations in daily tasks.
• Respond to housekeeping requests from facility departments and residents professionally.
