Job summary

AKA is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our team in West Palm Beach. You will maintain cleanliness of common areas, assist with linen and waste, and support room attendants while delivering friendly, resident-focused service.

Flexibility with nights, weekends and holidays is required. A high school diploma and prior housekeeping experience are preferred to ensure meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Energetic and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Proficiency in English (written and oral) preferred.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Flexibility with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas per AKA standards.
• Assist housekeeping with waste removal and linen transport.
• Support Room Attendant with linen stripping and trash removal.
• Collect dirty linen and transport to laundry.
• Inventory room furnishings and report damages.
• Document service requests and communicate with supervisor.
• Interact with residents professionally and follow AKA service standards.
• Handle chemicals safely and follow MSDS.
• Deliver bath and bed linens from laundry to stock rooms.
• Keep stock rooms organized and tidy.
• Deliver irons to guest suites.
• Complete all room calls promptly.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
