Emerson Lakes by Erickson Senior Living in Lakewood Ranch, FL is opening early 2027. We seek a Resident Services Coordinator to welcome new residents, build relationships, and create exceptional resident experiences on our new campus.

As the Welcome Home Ambassador, you will meet residents before move-in, assess needs, coordinate events, and develop service referrals while upholding AHCA background requirements. The role offers growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of social work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of the geriatric population and dementia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new residents prior to move-in to establish connections and build lasting relationships.
• Respond to residents needing psychosocial or supportive services through referrals or incident report review.
• Conduct assessments of potential residents.
• Recommend appropriate residency levels and resolve care/safety issues.
• Develop referral networks within the community for available services.
• Educate residents on Advanced Directives and completion of documents.
• Lead and coordinate planning for events and activities.

We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-focused, and driven Resident Services Coordinator who is excited to play a pivotal role in the grand opening of one of Erickson Senior Living's most anticipated new communities in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

As a Resident Services Coordinator, you will serve as a trusted resource and advocate for residents, fostering meaningful connections and ensuring a smooth transition into community life.

This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who thrives on building relationships, creating memorable experiences, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults. Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. • Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $55,000.00 per year plus annual bonus.

How you will make an impact

• Meeting with new residents prior to their move in to establish connections and build meaningful long lasting relationships.
• Responding to residents in need of psychosocial or supportive services, through direct referral or by the review of incident reports
• Conducting assessments of potential residents
• Recommending appropriate levels of residency
• Assessing and resolving issues regarding residents’ care and safety
• Developing referral networks within the community for available services
• Educating residents in the importance of Advanced Directives and completion of documents
• Leading and coordinating planning for events and activities

What you will need

• Minimum of 3 years of social work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior setting preferred.
• Knowledge of the geriatric population and dementia is preferred.
