Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to lead non-clinical resident care, ensuring compliance and high-quality service. The role reports to the Health & Wellness Director and is exempt and salaried.

Responsibilities include overseeing care teams, updating service plans, coordinating staffing, and maintaining family communications while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience caring for people with Alzheimer’s or related dementias is required.
  • Must have current First Aid and CPR certification as required by State.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct non-clinical resident care delivery to ensure high quality services.
  • Oversee resident care team, including hiring, training, and onboarding.
  • Develop and update resident service plans with the Health & Wellness Director.
  • Manage staffing schedules to meet service standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols and regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain open communications with residents’ families and act as first point of contact.

Job Description

The Resident Services Coordinator will report to the Health & Wellness Director. This position is an exempt, salaried position.

Responsible to lead and direct the delivery of non-clinical resident care, ensuring exceptional quality and services, while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as the company’s mission, policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 Yearly

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversees resident care team members to include hiring, training, and onboarding
  • Provide direct day to day oversight of resident care and ensure service plans are followed
  • Partner with the Health & Wellness Director to create and update resident service plans for residents and to identify and proactively respond to changes in condition and service needs
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust work schedules for the team to ensure adequate staffing to meet service standards and regulatory requirements; ensure appropriate resources to deliver outstanding resident care while effectively managing salary expense
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols
  • Maintain continuous and proactive communications with residents’ family members to promote open dialogue and timely sharing of important information; serve as the first point of contact for resident and family questions and concerns
  • Play a leadership role in creating and maintaining resident profiles to establish an understanding of their histories, preferences, and hobbies, and incorporate them into daily interactions and activities
  • Implement and monitor adherence to policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements; address issues quickly to ensure consistent compliance
  • Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications

Physical Abilities

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
  • An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
