We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides who are committed to helping residents enjoy each day. You will be a friendly, familiar face, providing respectful and dignified hands-on care, essential to residents’ quality of life and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest physical, emotional, and psycho-social wellbeing
• Supporting in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort, and wellbeing
• Following policies and procedures, and instructions from the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness

Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• Must be able to speak and read English
• Experience with geriatric population and ADLs preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines
• Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism in redirecting residents
• Ability to adapt to different personality types and situations positively
• Reliable, caring, and gentle demeanor
• Respect for the elderly; ability to remain calm
