Talbert, Bright & Ellington, LLC (TBE) is actively seeking a full-time Resident Project Representative (RPR) to support airfield and landside projects at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) and other airport clients in the region. The on-site role requires monitoring construction, preparing reports, and coordinating with airport staff and designers.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in field inspection, proven communication skills, and the ability to work within contract

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in engineering or construction-related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field with 2+ years of civil/inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site representative for TBE during the construction phase of assigned projects.
• Monitor and document daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare daily reports, field notes, photo documentation, and quantity tracking for contractor work.
• Coordinate and participate in construction meetings with airport staff, contractors, and project designers.
• Review contractor pay applications, submittals, and RFIs.
• Verify quality control measures, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
• Assist with materials testing coordination and tracking.
• Communicate field observations and issues clearly to the design team and airport staff.
• Support project closeout efforts including punch lists, final inspections, and record drawings.

Currently, TBE is seeking a full-time Resident Project Representative (RPR) to support airfield and landside projects at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) and other airport clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site representative for TBE during the construction phase of assigned projects.
• Monitor and document daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare daily reports, field notes, photo documentation, and quantity tracking for contractor work.
• Coordinate and participate in construction meetings with airport staff, contractors, and project designers.
• Review contractor pay applications, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Verify quality control measures, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
• Assist with materials testing coordination and tracking.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of field inspection experience involving construction contracts OR
• Associate degree in engineering or construction-related field and 5+ years of relevant experience OR
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and 2+ years of civil engineering, construction, or inspection experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Must be capable of effective oral and written communication; work in a team-oriented manner, and possess analytical and organizational skills.
• High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
