Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Resident Project Representative to ensure accuracy and quality on construction projects. You will verify installations, document progress, conduct field checks, and collaborate with project engineers to maintain high standards.

Ideal candidates bring a background in construction, a sharp eye for detail, and a dedication to quality. The role requires flexibility for non‑standard hours and a valid driver’s license. Parkhill values community and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/technology preferred but not mandatory with at least 5 years’ construction related experience.
  • Willing to work outside normal business hours including weekends and some nighttime work.
  • Proficient with computers and relevant hardware/software tools.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

  • Measures distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of installations and layouts.
  • Verifies levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.
  • Observes work in progress for conformance with plans and specifications.
  • Conducts field checks of materials and equipment.
  • Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods.
  • Reviews drawings and specifications for constructability.
  • Reviews project materials, documents, submittals, and schedules.
  • Advises project engineer of deficiencies and assists in developing solutions.
  • Documents construction progress with photographs and daily logs.
  • Verifies construction quantities and prepares pay requests.
