Job Title: Resident Project Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Resident Project Representative to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by acting as the primary liaison between project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and quality control, with a focus on data collection and analysis to uphold project standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction observation services for projects requiring engineering oversight, documenting activities and verifying compliance with drawings and contract documents.
• Observe construction work in progress to ensure adherence to contract requirements.
• Coordinate sampling and testing of construction materials.
• Review construction stakes and verify layout accuracy.
• Calculate and document quantities, review payment applications, and prepare change orders as needed.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other documents.
• Perform field inspections to ensure safety standards and quality are met, maintaining proper records.
• Collaborate with public agencies, utilities, engineers, and contractors.
• Act as on-site reviewer and field representative for the Construction Group.
• Administer contract portions, including tracking quantities and pay requests for project management review.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as an RPR or construction supervisor, preferably on state and federally funded projects.
• Knowledge of grading, earthwork, roadway construction, utilities, concrete formwork, rebar, and pumps and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret construction schedules.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
• Experience with contract management and understanding contractual obligations.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
