Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide for a PRN role in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting in Jacksonville, AL. You’ll assist with meal preparation, service, and ensuring residents receive nutritious, balanced meals to support recovery and daily comfort.

Qualifications

• A patient, respectful, and upbeat attitude— especially when working with older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable, dependable, and able to perform the essential functions of the role

Responsibilities

• Support meal and snack preparation, service, and delivery
• Keep work areas, equipment, tables, and floors clean and sanitary
• Wash dishes and utensils; collect soiled items and store clean items properly
• Review meal trays for accuracy based on menus and diet orders
• Store raw and leftover food safely and correctly
• Follow all Universal Precautions, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures
• Work some weekends and holidays as part of the team rotation
