Job summary

Regency Gresham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents and oversee daily foodservice operations. You will follow the menu, manage supplies, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, and ensure state sanitation codes are met.

Team-oriented individuals who can maintain inventory and accommodate resident preferences are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be able to read, write, speak and understand English, and may obtain a Food Handlers card in line

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers card.
• Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle and note changes or substitutions on proper form.
• Clean and maintain a neat, safe kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory, place orders, receive items, and restock as needed.
• Ensure resident food preferences are known and followed.
