Job summary

Healthcare Services Group provides compassionate dietary support in a long-term care setting. The Dietary Aide will help prepare and serve meals, follow dietary requirements, and maintain sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication with residents and staff are essential. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required; ServSafe/food handler certification may be required by state law. Comprehensive benefits and career development are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in food service allowed but not required.
• Follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
