Job summary

Graceworks Lutheran Services, a not-for-profit serving over 2000 older adults in Ohio, seeks a Full-Time Laundry Aide for Bethany Village in Centerville. Shift is 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $13.00–$14.50 per hour based on experience.

You will practice Faithful Caring tenets at work and help maintain clean, comfortable living environments for residents. Duties include operating washers and dryers, sorting, loading, picking up soiled linen, delivering clean linen,

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry operations is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand labels and instructions.
• Willingness to follow department procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong physical stamina for routine lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers and related laundry equipment per dept. practices.
• Sort, load, and process laundry following guidelines.
• Pickup soiled linen and deliver clean linen to units.
• Fold, hang and deliver residents’ personal linens.
• Label residents' clothing and return to units as directed.
• Adjust daily par levels per supervisor instructions.
• Maintain and document daily poundage and delivery logs.
• Answer phones and respond to call lights; assist as needed.
