Job summary

Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Program Assistant to enhance residents' well-being through diverse activities. You will work with the Programming team to tailor programs to residents’ needs and interests, supporting physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and emotional wellness.

Responsibilities include facilitating structured and impromptu programs, escorting residents on outings, collaborating with volunteers, and reporting changes in resident needs to the Programming

Qualifications

• Geriatric population experience preferred.
• Experience leading groups with varying independence levels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents.
• Escort residents on group trips and excursions.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver engaging programs.
• Monitor changes in residents’ needs and report to the Programming Manager.
• Manage program supplies and equipment for safety and functionality.
• Participate in team discussions on programming and schedules.
• Prepare and implement activity programs under guidance.
• Lead and set up group and individual activities.
