Job summary

Bridgeway Park Canton Senior Living Facility is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan purposeful and fun activities for residents, including chair yoga, dance circle, crafts, pet visits and outings.

The role emphasizes independence and maximizing residents’ functioning, with weekly documentation of progress, attendance and engagement for the supervisor. You will assist with range of motion and therapeutic exercises to help mobility. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.
• Experience in physical rehab is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating activity programs, including chair yoga, dance circle, seasonal crafts, pet visits, outings and more.
• Emphasize independence and maximize residents’ functioning.
• Completes weekly documentation of resident progress to the supervisor regarding attendance, behavior and level of involvement.
• Assist with Range of Motion and therapeutic exercises to restore mobility.
