Job summary

Overland Park Respiratory & Rehab Center in Overland Park, KS, is seeking an organized Activities Director to lead our resident life enrichment program and coordinate engaging activities for residents with diverse needs. Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing or a related setting is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of resident-centered programming, documentation, and long-term care regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive activities and life enrichment program.
• Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar with varied programming.
• Lead and supervise the Activities Department staff, including scheduling and training.
• Coordinate with nursing, therapy, social services, and other departments to support resident participation.
• Communicate activity schedules and resident needs to staff, residents, and families.
