Job summary

Apartment Life is seeking an Events and Ministry Coordinator to create engaging experiences for residents and staff at our apartment communities. You will plan monthly events, communicate with residents, and weave hospitality with mission.

The role combines relationship-building, budgeting, and community outreach, with opportunities to lead volunteers, work with local vendors, and craft marketing materials that highlight our vision.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports for the property management company.
• Possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation for events and vendor meetings.
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Have the availability to commit weekly hours, mainly evenings and weekends when residents are home.
• Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host 1 event each month for residents to care for and connect with residents and local services.
• Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with help from a network of community support.
• Enhance online reputation by inviting residents to share experiences online about their community.
• Develop marketing materials such as monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts.
• Manage the event budget process.
• Prepare monthly summaries.
• Meet with staff and program director for planning and development.
• Engage volunteers, vendors, and partners to maximize impact.
