Job summary

Lewisburg Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking energetic Activities Assistants for full-time and part-time day shifts. You will work directly with residents to enhance socialization and quality of life through engaging activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy and skills.
• Must possess an active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized activity care and services for residents as part of the activities department.
• Work as an interdisciplinary team member to support unit-based activities and resident engagement.
• Plan, organize and conduct a variety of activities to foster resident socialization and participation.
