Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. in Ventura, CA seeks an Activities Coordinator to plan, implement, and oversee the community’s activities program across care levels, including resident-led and intergenerational activities.

You will build partnerships, manage volunteers, coordinate calendars, monitor finances, and transport residents to events, while ensuring safety, HIPAA compliance, and resident rights. CPR/First Aid and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in programming for older adults preferred.
• CPR/first aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and oversees the Activities program in community; creates calendars for all care levels.
• Establishes partnerships and coordinates volunteer opportunities and joint programming.
• Leads activities and supports residents to take leadership roles and participate in events.
• Manages supplies, tracks expenses and transports residents to activities.
