Diversicare is seeking a dedicated Recreation Coordinator to coordinate and implement engaging activities for residents across our skilled nursing facilities. You will plan monthly calendars, provide one-to-one programs for residents who can't join group events, and collaborate with families to arrange special events in the residence.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, an interest in people, and creativity to tailor activities to diverse needs.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Long term experience preferred.
• SSD/AD certification.
• An interest in people; the ability to instruct residents and to communicate with them.
• Ability to direct and perform a variety of activities and to respond to varied needs of the residents.
• Imagination and creativity preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and coordinate activity program.
• Plan and implement an activity calendar monthly.
• Provide one to one programming for residents who cannot participate in a group setting.
• Participate in review of individual Residents' Care Plans and document activity progress quarterly or when asignificant change occurs.
• Coordinate quarterly special events at the residence, which includes the residents, families and friends.
• Be familiar with the Adult Care Home Residents' Bill of Rights and assist residents with exercising these rights.
