Heath House is seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to support clean, fresh linens and residents' clothing. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute items while following facility standards and safety guidelines.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. As part of our care-focused team, you will collaborate with staff to maintain supplies, manage inventory, and ensure items are returned to residents promptly and respectfully.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow cleaning guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and residents' clothing per facility standards.
• Sort and inventory laundry by type and owner; maintain records.
• Keep laundry areas clean, stocked, and safe; follow sanitation protocols.
• Assist with maintaining linens/clothing supply; report shortages.
• Collaborate with team to run laundry operations efficiently.
• Handle resident laundry with care and return items promptly.
