Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a housekeeper to help maintain a safe, clean community for residents, associates, and visitors. You will launder towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, and help with upkeep of resident apartments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings preferred; training provided.
• Understanding of proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans and redistributes resident laundry.
• Washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting resident clothing and linens.
• Ensures all laundry is sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
• Maintains laundry area in a clean, sanitary condition; keeps laundry department clean.
• Reports any laundry equipment problems to department supervisor.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
