Responsibilities

• Perform general laundry and housekeeping duties to provide quality laundry service and maintain a sanitary nursing home environment.
• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove items with holes or stains from service.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident's clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use all laundry equipment safely and report equipment issues.
