Job summary

CareCore at Willowood is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping linens clean and organized while supporting resident comfort.

The part-time shift is 2:00pm–10:00pm. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry, collect soiled items, and work closely with housekeeping and nursing staff to maintain infection-control standards and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Compassionate and respectful in a senior care environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident linens and clothing
• Collect soiled laundry throughout the facility
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary
• Properly handle and separate linens according to infection control guidelines
• Ensure residents' personal clothing is returned accurately and promptly
• Maintain adequate linen supplies throughout the facility
• Work closely with housekeeping and nursing staff as needed
