Job summary

Vitality is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to join our culinary team in Spring Hill, Florida. You will prepare, wash, and store dishes, keep the dishwashing area clean, and assist with serving meals and setting tables.

Must be at least 17, able to communicate in English, and follow safety and health regulations. You will work under the Culinary Services team, handle cleaning duties, and help cooks while ensuring a safe, respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain food handlers permit as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, and store dishes.
• Clean and sanitize dishwashing area.
• Complete Dishwasher Temperature Log at required times.
• Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to department procedure.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Assist with setting tables.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Deliver and retrieve kitchen supplies from resident apartments.
• Dispose of trash.
• Promptly report and address any unsafe conditions or equipment problems.
