Buckner Retirement Services, Inc. seeks a Laundry Assistant at Baptist Retirement Community in San Angelo, onsite.

The role supports our residents by managing laundry from multiple floors, sorting by type, loading machines, recording procedures, and ensuring timely delivery of laundered items across the campus. You will follow infection control and safety policies, mix detergents properly, and report any hazards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) preferred.
• Knowledge of procedures to operate Laundry in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Ability to follow infection control practices including universal precautions.
• Proficient reading/writing and understanding of English documents; ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Pick up laundry from various floors three to four times daily.
• Sort dirty laundry by kind and weigh/load machines as required.
• Program machines and record information on laundry forms.
• Deliver personal clothes and laundry to various buildings on campus.
• Follow infection control practices and safety policies.
