Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long‑term care facility in Hurricane, WV. This role emphasizes attention to detail, resident comfort, and teamwork.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, follow infection control guidelines, and assist with general upkeep while communicating effectively with residents and staff. Training is provided, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
