Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team in Ridgefield, CT. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment and provide personalized service to residents while delivering meals on a timely basis.

Responsibilities include setting up dining spaces, taking orders, delivering meals, assisting residents with selections, and supporting ongoing dining operations. Paid training and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions to perform tasks.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and Health Department guidelines for food service.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Stand and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals on a timely basis that are presentable and appetizing.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Handles requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.
• Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.
