Job summary

Encore Village is hiring a full-time server to interact with residents and guests in Independent Living. You will provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service in the dining room, ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving, setting up for meals and special functions, and upholding sanitation standards. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred and strong reading/writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good communication skills including reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Waiting on tables, taking orders, and setting/busing tables in the Dining Room.
• Ensure all shift duties are completed before close of shift.
• Set up and clean up for special functions.
• Know menu items and specials to answer diners' questions.
• Greet residents and guests warmly and professionally.
• Follow sanitation and food handling protocols.
• Maintain resident information confidentiality.
