Job summary

Pioneer Health Care Management in Sterling Heights is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide for Lakeside to prepare meals that meet residents' nutritional needs, follow dietary guidelines, and plate foods with care.

You will work in a busy kitchen, review production sheets, stock ingredients, maintain cleanliness, assist with meals and trays, and support the dietary team while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven dietary aide experience preferred.
• Customer service experience appreciated.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read and follow dietary guidelines.
• Friendly, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations.
• Reviews production sheets to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.
• Plates food and assembles trays per diet order and resident preference on meal ticket.
• Prepares food/meals/trays according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner.
• Reviews menus to identify all foods required for therapeutic diets before preparing food.
• Stock ingredients, monitor inventory and notify manager of low stock.
• Clean and sanitize food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
