Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents at The Hoy Center in Virginia Beach. The role involves routine cleaning of residents' apartments and common areas, with attention to privacy and individual preferences.

Responsibilities include following schedules, restocking supplies, making beds, and assisting with spills. The position is full-time, on-site, with day and night shifts and weekend rotation;

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or equivalant.
• Must demonstrate correct use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Experience with patients or aging adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in assigned areas according to schedules and methods.
• Empty waste cans, dust surfaces, mop floors, and clean fixtures.
• Replenish room supplies and make beds; assist in spill cleanup.
• Sanitize areas after bio hazard events; report repairs needed.
• Uphold resident dignity and privacy in all housekeeping tasks.
