Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Resident Field Technician/ Mechanic to cover the Brookings/Crescent City area. You will travel to customer sites, diagnose and repair equipment, and ensure uptime with professional customer interactions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Field Technician, you will work on material handling equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must reside in the assigned area of the region.

Compensation: $34.50-46/hr (Depending on Experience)
