Job summary

Placemakr, Inc. seeks a Resident Experience Associate in Washington, DC to deliver exceptional service to residents and partners, coordinate arrivals and moves, and support operations across communities.

You will collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams, respond quickly to inquiries, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment while upholding Placemakr’s standards. The role includes stock options, weekly pay options, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience delivering excellent customer service in hospitality, retail, multifamily, or food & beverage.
  • Experience communicating effectively with residents, team members, and partners, in both verbal and written forms.
  • Ability to learn and use systems or technology; prior experience with a CRM is a plus.
  • Comfortable supporting multiple communities and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to respond with urgency while maintaining professionalism and delivering solutions.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Can‑do attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a proactive, supportive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional experiences to residents and partners by delivering responsive, professional, and personalized service.
  • Collaborate with property teams to foster a One Team mentality.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment by following policies and procedures.
  • Assist with de-escalation of situations and support team members as needed.
  • Respond to resident communications promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of questions and requests.
  • Welcome residents, coordinate arrivals, departures, room assignments, and occupancy changes.
  • Utilize maintenance, housekeeping, inspections, and other systems to support operations.
  • Partner with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Operations Leadership to address needs quickly.
  • Support operations across multiple communities and travel between locations as needed.
  • Respond to off-site team members via Teams, email, or other approved methods.
  • Complete thorough shift handovers to ensure continuity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Resident Experience Associate – Washington, DC

Placemakr combines apartment living, vacation rentals, and hotel stays into a unified experience. We partner with developers, operators, and investors to curate a collection of apartment‑like spaces in carefully selected neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently provide an exceptional experience to all residents and partners by delivering responsive, professional, and personalized service.
  • Collaborate effectively with property team members to foster a "One Team" mentality.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment by following established policies and procedures.
  • Assist with de‑escalation of situations and support team members as needed.
  • Respond to resident communication in a timely, professional, and solution‑oriented manner.
  • Show strong sense of urgency in responding to resident questions, concerns, and service requests while ensuring follow‑up and resolution.
  • Welcome residents, coordinate arrivals, departures, room assignments, and occupancy changes in accordance with company standards.
  • Utilize maintenance, housekeeping, inspections, and other operational systems to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Partner closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Operations Leadership to address resident needs quickly and effectively.
  • Support operations across multiple communities and travel between locations as business needs require.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to off‑site, cross‑functional team members via Teams, email, or other approved communication methods.
  • Complete thorough and effective shift handovers at the conclusion of each shift to ensure seamless continuity of operations.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing ≤ 50 pounds without assistance.
Qualifications
