Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC in Naples, FL seeks a Resident Experience Ambassador to lead engaging activities for residents and coordinate the monthly program.

You will facilitate socials, crafts, outings, and 1:1 interactions, document attendance with Lifeloop, and help plan personalized activity calendars while driving when needed.

This role requires memory care experience, strong communication, adaptability to weekends/evenings/holidays, and a caring, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Memory care experience required.
• Experience in organizing activities or events preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and through pictures.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive the company van.
• Experience using Lifeloop or similar activity documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate socials, games, crafts, cooking, movies, outings, and other activities per schedule.
• Collaborate with Resident Experience team to generate new ideas and encourage participation.
• Create and adjust the Resident Experience plan for each resident.
• Distribute monthly calendars to residents and encourage engagement.
• Assist with transportation to activities as needed.
• Document attendance and interactions in Lifeloop.
• Identify and report concerns affecting participation to the Resident Experience Director.
• Maintain professional appearance and customer-focused service.
• Possibly drive the company van as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Experience Senior Living Team is comprised of dynamic professionals that are fueled by their passion to empower people as they grow older to live life to the fullest. We are looking for a Resident Experience Ambassador to join our amazing team!

Shift-PRN Responsibilities:

• Will help facilitate socials, games, crafts, cooking, movies, outings, outdoor time, and many other activities as per the monthly/daily schedule.
• Work with the Resident Experience team to bring new and exciting ideas, and to encourage others to offer new suggestions, to add to the monthly planned program(s).
• Assist in creating and adjusting the Resident Experience plan for each resident.
• Ensures that each resident has been given a copy of the monthly activity calendar.
• Invites, engages, and encourages participation from all residents to the extent they are comfortable participating.
• Assists in bringing residents to and from all activities.
• Uses Lifeloop to document all attendance both at planned activities and 1:1 interactions.
• Identify and report to the Resident Experience Director and personal, emotional, cognitive, and environmental concerns that prevent or limit a resident's ability to participate in any activity.
• Able to maintain a customer focus, treating others with respect and integrity.
• May drive the company van or vehicle for various reasons as required by the community.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have experience with memory care.
• Previous experience in organizing activities or event planning preferred.
• One (1) to two (2) years of working with seniors preferred.
• Demonstrates an ability to use independent judgement and discretion to make decisions on what is in the best interest of the resident.
• Ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and through pictures when necessary.
• Able to operate standard office equipment.
• Ability to utilize technology effectively and efficiently, including use of computers, iPad/tablet, Word programming, internet access, email, social media, and Resident Experience software platforms.
• The position requires driving responsibilities; must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per company's Motor Vehicle Policy.
• Able to think creatively and independently to meet worthwhile objectives.
• Able to be innovative to create and generate solutions and programs.
• Able to act in solving problems, while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of the issues.
