Fisher Associates seeks a Resident Engineer/ Transportation Construction Inspector to oversee a Guide Rail Project in Town of Hartwick, Otsego County, NY. Duration is approximately 3 months, Level III. Salary range $35-55/hr.

Qualifications

• NICET III/IV certification or NYSDOT equivalent required.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification is required.
• Prior roadway/utility/transportation construction experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform on-site inspections to verify construction activities follow approved plans and codes.
• Identify and report deviations from approved plans and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain clear inspection records with photos and notes.
• Prepare inspection reports and document needed corrections.
• Collaborate with contractors, PMs, and engineers to discuss results and address issues.
• Attend meetings and provide inspection updates.
• Provide recommendations to bring non-compliant work up to standard.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship.
• Oversee job sites for safety compliance and address hazards promptly.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
