Fisher Associates is seeking a Resident Engineer/ Transportation Construction Inspector to oversee a Bridge Replacement Project in the Town of Woodhull, Steuben County NY. Construction is anticipated in 2027.

The role requires NICET III/IV or NYSDOT-experience and OSHA 10-Hour certification, with preference for roadway/transportation construction experience. This position involves field inspections, coordination with contractors, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

Qualificações

• NICET Level III or IV certification or NYSDOT equivalent experience.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required.
• Prior roadway/transportation construction experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-site inspections to confirm construction activities match approved plans and codes.
• Identify and report deviations from plans and specifications.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain inspection records with photos and notes.
• Prepare inspection reports and document needed corrections.
• Collaborate with contractors, PMs, and engineers to discuss results and address issues.
• Attend meetings and provide inspection updates.
• Recommend actions to bring non-compliant work up to standard.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship.
• Oversee sites for safety compliance and address hazards promptly.
